Having heard a lot of critical feedback from our friends and neighbors with respect to their experiences with contractors, we wanted to ensure that we wouldn’t face the same problems with our proposed project. We finally settled on Jeff Rosenstrauch of Athena Pools to build our pool, spa and deck.

“Meticulous. Precise. Quality. These are the three words we use most when describing to others how we feel about Athena Pools and Jeff. Jeff recently completed the redesign and construction of our backyard, which included our pool, an Oklahoma deck, a customized multi-tiered bar with built-in custom cabinets and green egg holder, an outdoor fireplace and barbecue, all electrical needs and the surrounding landscaping and lighting.
Having never done such a project (but having spoken with others who have), we were prepared for the numerous problems and issues we were bound to face. However, with Athena and Jeff, it all went remarkably smoothly.

“Before we met Jeff, we spent a year interviewing six other pool builders. Jeff was referred to us by a friend who had a great experience with him. Since we still were not totally satisfied with the builders we had met, we decided to give Jeff a look. It took only one meeting with Jeff to recognize that he was different than rest…in a good way.
First, he is not a salesman. He comes across as genuine and honest. Second, he is an engineer and truly wants to build a durable pool for you and knows how to do it. Third, he has a great sense of humor and was a lot a fun to work with.
The design phase went well. We knew what we wanted and Jeff put together a design with ease. He recommended some changes which we went with and are happier for it. His proposal had no hidden costs and factored in our finish choices.
The pool construction phase was continuous, without interruption. After just going through building the house, this was refreshing. His subcontractors were respectful of our property and kept the worksite clean. Jeff was onsite pretty much every day and kept us updated frequently. With any project like this, there are going to be challenges. Jeff met these head on; with no hesitation. We now have an amazing pool which we absolutely love.
